Context/Brief
Sustainable pre-urban settings and residential development in Khlong Bang Prathun Community, Jomthong District. Bang Prathun Community in Chom Thong distrcit is known for its Tangerines, poomijai garden, a laychee farm and canal life style. The local there has been associated with waterways. The place is also known for Wat Sai Floating market and some Buddhist temple around theree. It is one of the remaining area of green in the peri-urban settings as the area around are being occupied by the new development due to its location, city expansion and increasing population.  The expansion now is starting to take over the agriculture for developing new estate, commerce places and offices for urban city settings.

Population continue to grow and the city is expanding. Estimated population of 10.539 million (2020), 15.3 percent of the country's population with 1.74% growth rate.
